Various popular Brooklands events by museums

 

Built at Weybridge, Surrey in the year 1907, Brooklands is the first motor racing circuit in the world. It has always been considered something far more than just a sporting course. Brooklands is the residence of Concorde, British aviation and motorsport took birth here and it is also the site of various technological and engineering achievements for about 8 decades in 20th century. There are various Brooklands events held by the museums throughout the year and these have quite a craze among not only the localites but among people from other states and countries as well.

Brookland events held by the museums:

There is an exhibition of a wide variety of events like bicycle, motorcycle, giant car races, gathering of BAC/Vickers built aircrafts which include the Wellington Bomber of Second World War, VC10, Vanguard, Viscount, Varsity, Viking, BAC One Eleven and South East England public’s only accessible Concorde. On weekends there are organized additional events by the museums which include Aviations events, the Brooklands Double Twelve Motorsport Festival, Auto Italia Italian Car Day and Car Club visits. Car rides are also organized by the museum during weekdays.
